Title: Countdown to a complete PCE NTSC-J collection (79 to go)
Post by: Tatsujin on January 28, 2009, 03:47:38 PM
so this is what remains for a complete pc engine collection. excluding any prototypes or unrelseased softs, but including all "not for sale" or "trail soft" stuff (hibaihin & taikenban). still a far far way to go though, especially regarded to the fact, that some of the missing items will cost me a real fortune (up to $4000) to get them. so i still hope for some future lucky bargains here and there^^

so anyway, if you have titles listed below you like to reject from your collection, please feel free to make me an offer at any time. trading could be an option as well :)

(the very hard to get or very expensive ones are marked in red with a roughly pricing -> those which are above $200+)

Nice collection!

It's a strange feeling seeing how an idea you started gets into a "fad", kinda flattering really. Wish you luck (and healthy wallets) in your campaign of completeness.

You don't put Aki in red ?

"excluding any prototypes or unrelseased softs, but including all "not for sale" or "trail soft" stuff (hibaihin & taikenban)."

So you have the two Super Real Mahjong Special Version, Youkai Gold, Megami Paradise Dengeki Special Version, Kid's Station, 8 Active Life Network, 4 HCDS, Tanjo Gekitouhen, Jaseiken Necromancer 3,...
More seriously, do you have the CD mook from : Anearth Fantasy Stories (with the shoot Cychorider), Lodoss 2, Bakuretsu Hunter, Emerald Dragon ?

thought i did, but i didn't  now i did :)

are those versions which were purchasable? respectively how where those released exactly? what i did count in, were the regular special versions (official) and taikenbans which where purchasebale. but your right, some of them should be considered to be added in the list as well.

yes :)

Aki for 40,000yens very cheap ;-)

"respectively how where those released exactly? "

Most of them were gifts at contests (Super Real Mahjong Special Version, Megami Paradise Dengeki Special Version, Tanjo Gekitouhen, Cosmic Yakyuuken Kanzenban), gift to the press (Youkai Gold), gift to Hudson School (4 HCDS), just commercial games (8 ALN, 4 Kid's Stations)or just promo demo (Jaseiken Necromancer 3),...

I've said it before tats, and I'll say it again: You collection is mind boggling.

But the $4000 game? That's just insane.

I'm not a mathematician, but isn't 40000 a might bit lower than 398000?

He gave up on completing his Japanese collection (he had about 20-30 to titles to acquire) and decided to collect System Cards.

that's right. if I only could trade every collected sys huey into a game I don't own yet, I would be almost complete. but sad things, this will never happen :(

life can be so mean. it is also one of the hardest ever.
