Title: Hi-Res snaps needed of Dracula X - PC Engine
Post by: Duo_R on February 02, 2009, 07:23:29 AM
Hi,

I am in process of purchasing Dracula X. Could anyone take some up-close snaps of the CD-Rom so I can make sure I am getting a legit copy? I know that sounds cheesy, but the owner wasn't sure if it was a duplicate or not. I never heard of Dracula X dups, but to be on the safe side would someone mind taking hi-res snaps up close? Especially the inner ring?

thanks,

Duo

I can scan mine when I get home tonight, but it's probably not necessary; there aren't a bunch of DracX 'second prints' running around like there are of Sapphire, so if it's a pressed disc, then it's most likely real.  Anywho..... the inner ring is similar to every other game, so if it differs significantly (like the Sapphire boots), then it isn't legitimate (check out Black Tiger's nifty Sapphire comparison (http://www.superpcenginegrafx.com/sapcomp2.html)).

*edit* - Disc scans e-mailed.  Beware the dust bunnies.
