Serious question: How can I beat the ballerina in Bonk's Revenge without taking damage? I do fine on every other boss and the game is easy yet fun. I just have a hard time with her and only her. I haven't found a good place to hit her without getting hit myself. Is there something I've missed? Any tips?

I hate this boss. You have to hit her at the top of her head.

I have the same problem. Poor Bonk doesn’t jump high enough to land on top of her head. At least I can’t do it.

Any tips?
Try standing on the ramps at either side of the room. When she spins towards you, jump up to avoid her and head butt the flying snowballs. When she stops spinning in the center of the room, jump over and bonk her in the head, then land on the opposite ramp. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Your timing would have to be consistently perfect to refrain from taking any damage, but you should easily be able to finish her off without being hit too often.

yeah, she's nasty. I can usually clear everything before her pretty easily, and build up quite a few extra lives, but she takes most of 'em. :x

In Bonk's Revenge, you can build up to almost 50 extra lives. Well, at least, I could do that back in 1992, when I spent most of my time playing the game.

Ah yeah I guess taking no damage would be a bit difficult, but yeah I'll give this a try this week. Thanks for the tips guys!

I don't think I've had more than 20-25 lives in that game. (I think I can't remember well but I think I had around that many)

You can get lots of extra lives by getting as most "smileys" as you can and by clearing as many bonus stages as you can.

A not-so-well-known secret about the skater bitch in Bonk's Revenge is that you can jump onto her outstretched leg when she stops in the middle, allowing you a free, damage-less hit. Of course, the direction her leg ends up in is random, so you've got a 50% chance of it being in the direction you need it to be in. It'll take longer to win this way though.
