Title: Can't remember the name of a TV series:

Anyway, on the U.S -- I recall seeing it mid-80s or so.  I figure a lot of you are in this age group, so here's a shot:

A live-action TV series, meant for children.  It was on during the morning cartoon times, probably around 1985-86 or so. 

Things I recall were about this family that somehow got stuck in this stone-age/fantasy era, and how they eek out a living.  I remember bunch of cave settings and them running from dinosaur-type looking monsters.

Any ideas?

Land of the Lost. Awesome show, but I was banned from watching it after my brother got scared by it once.  :evil:

Sadly their doing a new "remake" type movie....staring Will Ferrell :-s :-k

I hate Will Ferrell more then anything, but, I might see the movie.  One thing that caught my attention is that the Sleestak look like the original Sleestak(from the 70's), not the ones from the late 80's show!

Friggin' great show. Loved it. Really catchy theme song, as well.
