MOTHER's DAY UPDATE:
Sample page design for the MAGAZINE SCAN section of the Preservation Society (http://home.comcast.net/~turbografx-preservation-society/images/mock-up-TG16-website-2.gif)

NOTES: I tried to think of all the ways folks might want magazine content organized (date, genre, publication). Tell me if the categories can be improved. Yes, I have a bunch of page scans for all of the publications listed :). Eventually, this site will incorporate a search function, but I don't think it will be implemented for the initial launch.
Keep in mind that I've gone through many revisions of the page layouts and that the final version will look a bit different (but not too drastic).
This design was inspired by the tg-16 packaging, by the way -- i.e. the "grid of dots", the pallette (well, I took some liberties because flourescent orange, green and black look a tad gawdy for a website).

Wow, that's a pretty badass design and reflects the design style they used back in the day really well. Major kudos. :D

GOOD EYE! You actually posted that while I was editing my post! I was afraid folks might overlook that, I'm glad you noticed :)

Looking really good, I like it. One small suggestion, you might as well make the TG16PS logo a little bigger, you have alot of empty space in the header because of the height of the PCE and TG logos on the right of the header. Good job! :D

Wow! That looks way cool! :D

Excellent job. I'm pretty impressed, and it takes a good deal of talent to impress someone like me with a mere web site design.

update... ok, a new screenshot offering a better idea of what the magazine scan section layout will be like. Read the "Notes" and feel free to make suggestions, especially on what to include in the navigation bar in the right-hand column.

Very cool. Good work, Steve!
