One more system to cross off of the list!

Oh yeah, that looks nice..... well, the box does; it's kinda hard to tell with her hiding in the bag, but is she in as good of shape as the packaging? Do you have any games for her yet? In any case, congrats on the sexy purchase. 8)
-
Very, very nice!!
Those things are mysterious and sexy.
-
No games yet, and it still has to be shipped from Japan. I figure that I'll check around the Midwest Gaming Classic for games before I have my buddy do any searching.
-
mmmmm very sexy boxed Supergrafx. Congrats on teh grab.
-
very nice... such a cool looking system.. looks like small engine to me :)
do ya mind me asking how much you did pay? i think i paid to much for mine 2 years ago when i got :-k
-
Necromancer, the SuperGrafx is a "he" because it is manly.
looks like small engine to me
I'm pretty sure that's what they were going for. Kind of ironic that they dropped the "engine" branding from it... kind of.
-
Sweetness. :)
What does the back of the box look like? If it has anything worthwhile, I'd love to see it.
Thanks in advance...
-
I'd do it.

$98 plus shipping, hence the reason that I couldn't pass it up. My buddy in Japan found it for me at some small shop.
Just got my Japanese Master System too, so I get the much better FM Sound. If I keep this up, I won't have any money for MGC next weekend 8-[

I picked it up from the Post Office yesterday, and the system itself is in AMAZING shape. Not a scratch anywhere. The box is in great shape, but the styrofoam is a bit discolored. The manual etc are all in the original baggie as well.
I played a few games last night.
Grandzort- uggh
Battle Ace- Not a great game, but I got farther than ever (stage 3)
Ghosts and Goblins- I forgot how great the translation is. What a great game!
Darius Plus- I don't really see any "upgrade" wen it's played in the SG, but I love the series, and this is a great game!
All-in-all, I'm EXTREMELY happy with this find! I still need to get Aldynes and 1941 (yeah right,) but I'm definitely grabbing a cd unit for this.
-
Darius Plus just has less flicker on the SGFX.
Granzrot grows on ya the more you play it, took me awhile to get into it.
-
Granzort f*cking rocks, that's one of my favorite SGX games. Although relatively speaking, with only 5 or 6 actual titles, I suppose that doesn't mean much.
-
Y'know, Keith Courage grew on me. It was the only game I had for a while. That doesn't make it a good game.
-
Except Granzort is actually a good game. :D
-
Granzort is a good game. It's based on a popular anime back in the days.
It's a shame only 5 games were released for the Supergrafx. Anyhow, congrats for finding the system in such a great shape!
-
Same here, Granzort is far from being a crappy game. Honestly even if more games were released on the system that were great, it would still be pretty damn good. It's better than Keith Courage by a long shot.
-
I actually liked Keith Courage quite a bit (finished it and everything.) I'll try Granzort out again eventually though, especially since I don't have my hands on Aldynes yet.
-
Keith Courage isn't THAT bad. It really showcased the colours and sounds of the TG/PCE. Granzort looks pretty fun too. It doesn't look like anything a SuperCD couldn't pull off, but the parallax scrolling is quite nice.
