i cannot believe these chocolate eggs are illegal in the USA, as there is a fear of someone eating the toy/capsule on the inside of the chocolate egg... sure i guess
but at Easter for us Canadians are all about the Kinder, it is sweet freak'n goodness for a $1
http://www.kindersurprise.com/home.html
guyjin found some articles on them being banned when we were on chat a couple days back, have a read and if you need a Kinder fix i will be your pusher!!!

haha. Yeah, but remember that US Customs will stop the Kinder invasion at the border! [-X There will be no Kinder Suprise attacks on the USofA!
I suggest all United Statians petition Obama for a Kinder Easter. Assure him that kids won't be choking on mini Taliban chocolate bombs.

They can keep their cheap plastic toy and instead fill it with creme, Cadbury style. Besides, why would anyone even want to sell this thing in such a litigious world? It's just a matter of time before some dumb ass gives it to little two-year-old Timmy and then sues when he chokes on it.
-
except every country in the world, except the US, has these. Ferrero somehow managed to introduce these everywhere else without being sued out of existence. They've probably practiced their arguments a few dozen times.
That said, I <3 me some Cadbury eggs. =P~

Good point; change that to "this litigious country". These things are dangerous, just like those little metallic balls (drageƩ) used in cake decorating.

Have you tried the orange creme ones? Don't - they taste like tang flavored puke.

I can see that in the US. People sue everyone for everything down there.

Yeah, just tried one today. It tasted like fake orange pop - which, strangely, I kinda like.

Funny that you bring this up. I have a friend that ordered those for years as presents around the holidays for the kids that she is around, and then all of the sudden a year or 2 ago, they just all of the sudden, stopped allowing them for import into the United States. Complete bullshit, just because of protections for people too stupid to read or realize in the first place that hey, they have capsules in them...if I recall the packaging even says so.
All for the ignorance of the few, that everyone else must suffer.
PM sent to you Sparky.

Candy and Cheap Plastic Toys in one perfect package? I want some!

Cadbury eggs rock! My favorite easter candy hands down. What better way to celebrate the holiday of the bunny than the cadbury egg. Not sure what's so great about those canadian toy filled egg; looks like a nice way to carelessly wound the roof of your mouth.

First of all, they're not Canadian. They're from Switzerland I believe, or at least from some Nordic country. Secondly, you're not supposed to eat the toy in the middle! :P I know the education system in the US is a little slack, but c'mon! :P

How's the education system in Canada? Italy is a Mediterranean country. :P

My parents dropped off a 3 pack of Kinder eggs yesterday. lol. It ain't Easter without the Kinder. I haven't opened up the toys yet, but I'll do that tomorrow. The toys themselves are usually useless, but it's just the fun of putting them together, especially if they have decals. Now, if you want the really good Kinder toys, you have to buy the giant Kinder eggs. Those things have some really cool toys. The last one I got was a working catamaran that you had to put together - decals and all. Oh, and of the giant Kinder chocolate shell. =P~

I used to have the Kinder eggs when I was a kid. The first toy I got from them was the Pink Panther dressed as a lone star sheriff. They were pretty fun to have around but you get bored of them really quickly.
The chocolate was pretty good too from what I remember. =P~
