So, Veigues on PC88 is pretty neat. No, I don't think it holds a candle to the PCE version, but...

PC88:
The music is good (which we got for PCE). I like these tunes, even the minimalist ones.
The miniboss/boss battles for PC88 continue to scroll, while the PCE version has the stage scrolling stop.
It's been some time, but the intro to the PC88 is nice. It certainly is on par (if not better) than the PCE.

Of course, the actual game, with the parallax scrolling/foreground/background layers scrolling at different speeds, is too much for PC88 and is choppy.

Did the PCE version cut any of the stages/enemies? I wanted to watch more video but my wifi connection is spotty here. The first video looked very familiar, except I didn't remember the "Sand dune" level in the PCE version... the sand dunes look neat on the PC88.
