I found a mint condition boxed SuperGrafx today!!!!! But is $269.99 plus shipping too much? It'll have to be imported so the shipping alone could get me a Turbografx on eBay.

Depends what you want it for. If you just want it to play games, hold out for an un-mint, un-boxed deck for under $100. I scored my SGX a number of years ago for $65 or something. It's in fine condition, but didn't come in the box.

If you're a collector type that only really cares about getting boxed, mint shit then $269 is an OK price I guess.

Thanks!! Yeah I am collecting. There is another member here who's selling his for $120.00 unboxed. I almost went for it but I remembered watching all those guys on You-Tube unwrapping their mint cond. SuperGrafx's and can't stand not being able to experience that for myself.

I saw that. Apparently his is also region-modded. That's actually a pretty good deal for $120, but I suppose it's a moot point if you're looking for boxed.

				Yeah, but still mighty tempting.

Normally I take time out of my day every once on a while to rag on people who value boxes and shrink wrap over the actual substance of whats in the package, but since the SGX is pretty mediore I think it might be cooler in its box that playing game.

 Not really.

I scored a mint complete boxed SuperGrafx w/ 5 mint complete games(1941: Counter Attack, Aldynes, Battle Ace, Daimakaimura, and Madou Granzort) for only $300!!! Mwahahah! I bought it on ebay from a member of this forum. heh. The SuperGrafx was so mint that its controller was still sealed!
