Title: CD System Card 2.0
Post by: Jason Blue Boost on May 11, 2009, 07:57:57 AM
Hi all.  New member, but original owner of my Turbografx / PCEngine stuff from the day they came out.  I was looking to sell my system 2.0 card to a fellow member.  Just wanting to know if there are any games that require the system card 2.0 only?  I do have PC Engine system card 1.0 that is to run my Altered Beast cd.  I also have SuperSystem card 3.0 and Arcade Card.  I would test this out on my own system, but right now I have that problem where the cd lights up but does not spin.  Anybody

There are no known games that only run on a particular system card other than the 1.0 card that I've ever heard of. There definitely isn't anything worth saving the card for.

Are you talking about the PCE 2.0 card or the Turbo CD card?

The Turbo CD card.

The Turbo CD card.

Yeah, it doesn't do anything you can't do with a 3.0 card.

The only reason one would save it is to see the "not enough memory" screens for SCD/ACD games on a US unit (TurboGrafx CD/Turbo Duo).

Yeah, not much of a reason, really...
