Bomberman Ultra hit the PS3 store yesterday. There's is a demo available if you want to try it out. I'll be checking out the demo tonight. Check out the announcement from the Playstation blog: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/06/11/playstation-store-update-89/#more-11807.

Hopefully it's better than Bomberman Blast for the Wii. That was a stinker.

Meh. To me, the old 16-bit versions of Bomberman will forever be the greatest. 8)

The iPhone versions (Both 1 & 2) are fair to midland. the touchscreen makes the controls less than predictable.
In 2, you can play over a WiFi network.
BM1 is $7.99 and BM2 is $3.99.

When you roll your eyes like that, that means the games are too pricey? :-s

Yes I'd rather the game be a few dollars. I played the demo versions that were free.
The second game is far more playable over a WiFi network and is cheaper, undoubtedly because its on sale. Call me a traditionalist but I'm not used to games without boxes.

Shit, I think like music, there's a market for multiple ways of distributing the games. If I were one of the big boys, I'd create a two-tier system where one can buy the game on a disc with the case & manual for extra cost. Hell, it doesn't even have to be a fancy box & manual per se -- just something to keep on a physical format would be nice.
