Title: PC-Engine Games now available on Japanese PS3 & PSP
Post by: DJLobo on July 15, 2009, 07:23:44 AM
Hudson is putting out 4 PC-Engine games on the Japanese PSN Store. Titles are: Bomberman '94, Devil's Crush, New Adventure Island and Sengoku Mahjong. Here's a link that has links to the Japanese press releases from Sony & Hudson: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/15/japans-playstation-network-offering-pc-engine-games/.

Maybe, just maybe, we could see some Turbo/PC-Engine titles in the U.S. or Europe. I can only hope.

...we'll be able to take Devil's Crush on the go for the first time since the TurboExpress -- thus elevating the PSP to the best system since the TurboExpress.

I must say, the dude has excellent taste.  8)

I thought somebody would dig that line. Over in the racketboy forums, somebody has posted their impressions: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=14307. They've built in a save state feature, which you can apparently use to import and export saves in between the PS3 and PSP.
