I was wondering, how do people make these?

Take screen shots in an emulator then cobble them together in photoshop.

Take screen shots in an emulator then cobble them together in photoshop.

And, they turn off different planes (i.e. the sprites), so you don't see dudes every screen.

If you want to be really fancy, you can go back and insert some sprites (enemies, objects) on the stage map once you make it. Doing this recaptures the feeling of the game and isn't hard...

I prefer hooking a printer up to my TV and hitting GO!

:-D

Man I remember back in like, 1990 my one Final Fantasy guide, you can see the seams/contrast where each image was put together to form maps.

go pre-photoshop!
