it's not AWFULLY Familiar, it's just AWFUL!
it's done by an emulator boy residing on assmebler forums with just very few PCE/TG16 knowlegde. you can find that out quickly just after reading few lines.
-
Funny he links the PCE Bible, Black Tigers site..even Mike's Helgeson's site...but not here, nor PCE Daisakusen.
OBEY FAIL

I don't think that a regular from here would have posted mistakes like Gate of Thunder being on Sega-CD and the Turbo Duo requiring a converter to use the Arcade Card just so that it could then play japanese CD games.
It's still cool to see a new PCE page and the first comment and response are priceless:
Q: Why are PC engine fans so hung up on proving the consoles superiority all the time? It hardly matters nowadays.
A: I can't answer that, I'm just talking about how awesome it is

That page was clearly created by Tatsujin's evil (and mildly retarded) twin.
Sega's Megasis
Megasissy, perhaps.
Sega offered some PC Engine and Mega Drive games to play on line through the Dreamcast.
Huh?!? Never heard of that one; has anyone else?

Yeah, I think this was built into one of the versions of Dream Passport. Around that same time they also did something similar for PS2. Neither came out in the US. The PS2 stuff also had NetMD software in it, which I always wanted to try.

Neato. Any idea what titles were included?
-
Nope. It was a short lived product. I assume for the MD it was the same shit they always throw out (Altered Beast, Flicky, Streets of Rage 1) but for the PCE I have no clue.

SuperGrafx Strider was one of them, can't remember the others...

North American mags and the U.K. Sega Saturn magazine said that the games downloaded to a VMU and that they were timed rentals for like a month or something. I remember a PC Genjin game being specifically named.

Dracula X: Special Version perhaps?

Man that was bad.
nonetheless, I shamelessly plugged Insanity in the comments. Maybe some people will see it there ;)

I had to laugh at Necro's comment that it could be Tats' evil and mildly retarded twin. haha  I thought it might have been tats when he/she was commenting on how ugliness of the TG, not to mention the OBEY. lol But then went on talking about having to use Arcade Cards to play Jap CDs. :-s
