Title: R2-D2 is a retrogaming fiend. Who knew?
Post by: Necromancer on October 09, 2009, 06:30:25 AM
Sausage Link (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10359728-1.html)

Everybody's favorite itty-bitty beeping buddy is loaded up with all sorts of retro gaming goodies, tunes, and a projector, but sadly no Turbo hardware is to be found; if it weren't for the Dreamcast on board, I'd swear he'd gone over to the dark side.  :D

I want that.

But I'd immediately remove the playstation and n64 and replace them with a Supergrafx+CD unit and a Wii7800. An R2D2 that plays videogames should really have an Atari in it.

(I might remove the XBOX later, too.)

Oh yeah, I remember those RDD2 coolers. They were a Pepsi thing some years ago. Maybe for the Special Edition releases?

I agree that the choice of systems could be much better. Much much better. It needs some much older crap in there in general.

Aren't the long, skinny, black and silver controllers on the bottom right for a 7800?  :-k
