Hey everyone, I am new here.
They used to have them at TZD, but I guess the site is no longer in business. There are a couple on ebay, but one is in the UK and one is used and $60. Any ideas?

Pretty sure a Genesis (model 1) or master system cable will work. They are $10-$15 on ebay. Make sure it is stereo before you buy, since many are mono.
Now that Im looking around, I think I actually bought the one from the UK seller. If I remember correctly, it came in a bout a week.

Sweet. I just picked up a Genny 1 AV cable for $8 shipped off ebay. Thanks !

Crap ! It's mono :(

The ones TZD sold were garbage, so you didn't miss out on much. Unfortunately though I don't have any other suggestions. :(
Someone should just order the parts and start hand making the things. They'd probably cost $30, but at least they would be quality.

The ones you saw on ebay are likely from pcenginesales (http://www.retro-accessories.co.uk/ourshop/prod_345541-PC-EngineTurbo-Grafx-AV-cable.html), who is a member here, though I haven't seen her around in quite some time. They're a bit cheaper outside of ebay, so a new cable should cost about $12 shipped (assuming shipping is the same as what's quoted on ebay).

Can always use an RCA splitter like one of these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3232744
If you have a Best Buy near you, the HT dept usually has cheap ones for a few dollars.

Mono coming out of two speakers is still mono; such a splitter wouldn't be able to restore the two discrete channels after they're mixed together.

Thanks captain obvious. Just giving them a way to get sound out of both speakers given the cable he purchased, if his tv or reciever doesn't automatically make up for the missing channel (some units will take a mono signal and output it to both speakers). Since he has no way to get stereo from the unit without another cable or splitting open the one he buys and grabbing the correct pins and running the extra wire, they may be happy with this solution. It's better than just one speaker working.
