For anyone out there who is lucky enough to own both a PC Engine LT AND and Super CD ROM 2 unit (grey.orange), three questions:
1 - Does anyone own the famously rare adaptor for connecting them together
2 - How good do they look? Are they colour coordinated like the Core Gfafx2?
and the main question:
3 - Can you cut away some of the plastic docking area on the SCDROM 2 to allow the LT to fit in without the adaptor??!
I presume the adapter just adds a couple of inches to the back of the LT so it fits into the SCDROM2 without the lid getting in the way.
Boy, I really want to hook up my LT with the SCDROM2. Any photos of anyone who's managed it would be cool!
BTW for general PC Engine weirdness please have a look at my Youtube Channel: 10 Minute Turbo Show. www.youtube.com/futurematt5 (http://www.youtube.com/futurematt5)
Cheers guys..

AS for:
3 - Can you cut away some of the plastic docking area on the SCDROM 2 to allow the LT to fit in without the adaptor??!
Looking at it doubtful as the power jumper for the SCD to LT is in the adaptor. :-k

Ques #3 was brought up here some time ago -- I have DEFINITELY seen a mod (I'm pretty sure it was to the SCD-ROM, though don't quote me on that) so that one didn't need the adapter to fit the LT into the SCD-ROM. I can't recall whether the pic was on a thread somewhere on this forum or somewhere out in the web.... From what I recall, it actually looked better than having the adapter as the mod cut out some "extra fat" that didn't really need to be there.

You da man! Thanks for that excellent link which not only showed the LT adapter, spoke of possible RAU 30 abuse and offered some hope that the SCDROM could be modded, but that thread was by none other than you tube man Dankss!
