Title: the noob checks in
Post by: TJ on July 14, 2005, 04:14:33 AM
Hey everyone,

I just Googled "turboduo problems" because my Duo is having issues with the CD audio, and it led me here! I've actually been a fan of pcenginefx.com for years but I'm not much on registering for forums; however, since I'm on a Turbo kick at the moment and I see I'm not the only one having problems with my Duo's sound, here I am. =)

A little info if anyone cares -- I'm not strictly a Turbo player, I collect anything and everything from Pong machines to Gamecube, Odyssey to PS2 and everything in between. My collection consists of around 40 consoles, 1100 games, and over a dozen arcade machines. I run a website you may or may not have heard of called the Metroid Database, which was the first Metroid website on the internet when it was first established in 1996. I'm a member of VAPS (the Video Arcade Preservation Society) and years ago I was very active in the RGVC (rec.games.video.classic) community. So I been around. ^_^

And I just got a CoreGrafx because it was actually cheaper than buying a PCE adapter. ^_^

Anyways thanks for letting me ramble and I hope to learn a lot here at the forum!

lord_cack: damn man I thought you were a longtime regular here, haha. Welcome new poster. Stay a while... Stay forever!

If you're not looking for D-Lite about your audio issue, you should be. Last I heard he's working on a solution.
