I've never seen it, but if you buy it along with this bad boy (http://cgi.ebay.com/PC-ENGINE-ARTIST-TOOL-PC-ENGINE-Hu_W0QQitemZ290256465989QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Vintage_Video_Games?hash=item4394a23045) you'll be in action...
(providing it works!)

I remember seeing (if I remember correctly) Lingjr (sp?) had one of those bad boys up quite a few years ago... had the printer, the disc, the tablet, and I thought something else... but I could be wrong... think he wanted well over $600 for the whole thing (everything was in original packaging too)... that was back around 2000-2003...

I have all of this (the Illust and print boosters and Artist Tool), new.

Have you opened it?
Waste of money or worth checking out?

A novelty, at best, and hardly worth it. It is an extremely basic art program.

The PC Engine was originally supposed to be just that, the "Engine" behind a fully featured multimedia computer. Games, art, music, you name it. Hence all the accessories. When the system took off as more of a gaming console, NEC wisely dropped the other stuff from the lineup.
