when ever I have to switch my old low-res game equipment to FullHD shizzle TiVis, I will buy me one of these:

Is the SCART input for Japanese SCART only or does it accept the UK-style SCART?  The JP version is all messed up.

Where are the best places to buy one?

You have to have a JP SCART cable, or mod it, or something. This was the case with earlier models anyway.

Of course it uses Japanese 21pin RGB.  It's a JP only product, no use for stupid Euro cables. 
I have the XRGB2+, is there any reason to upgrade to the 3?
