Title: Super CD-ROM2 laser replacement

I bought a Super CD-ROM2 unit (the gray one) a while back and it seems the laser is a bit finicky and likes to cause almost eternal loading times on Dracula X.. does anyone have experience replacing the laser on this unit? I haven't been able to find any resources related to the matter unfortunately.  :?
