Title: Turbo Booster Plus Question
Post by: Ultra Luigi on July 02, 2010, 09:11:38 AM
How does the Turbo Booster Plus’ save feature work and does it lose it’s saving capabilities over time? I just got one along with a TG-16 from a seller on eBay for $52. He had both of them As Is because he couldn’t get them to work (turns out the game was dirty and only needed to be cleaned). So now I have two Turbos, which I wasn’t expecting this one to work and a Turbo Plus! I’ve been trying to get one for years at a reasonable price (did I get a decent deal?). RF begone!

I think you did pretty well for $52.  There's either a battery or a capacitor in there to keep the save files alive, and when it dies, the save capabilities go with it; if you can find and replace that battery/capacitor, you'll be back in the saving business.
