So, as I suspected from your other thread in April, you really do have nothing to contribute here and are basically using the forum to spam your eBay auctions? Nice.
-
People who's only posts are selling stuff, selling overpriced US stuff on eBay especially, aren't very popular here. There aren't any rules against it, but you're going to have to get used to this kind of thing because most of this feel this way.
When someone's first post is selling an overpriced game, many of us get the impression that your only place in this hobby of ours is to make things more expensive for the rest of us.

What he said.
Combine the fact that both of your posts here have been on the FS board, you never even came back to answer questions in your other thread, AND the fact that you're not so much 'selling' anything but really just advertising your eBay auctions, and it really just looks like you're here to help your auctions pull in the highest bid.
It's really not much different than the guys that come in here and their first post is a request for a US Magical Chase. You still give the impression that you're only here when you need something as opposed to being part of this community.
Either way, good luck with your 'sale'.

Ya I am not even sure why people post ebay links for there stuff or for things that they find.. I guess for people like me that don’t go to ebay :-k I do get some good laughs out of it so maybe a thank you is in order :P

Well 99.99 for Exile 2 is a dumpy price, brother. I classify myself as you (diehard fan who grewup with PCE/TG, buys big lots, and resells on Ebay when there are dupes), but contrasted to you, I love this forum and post all the time, even if it's just rants (like about Sparky's awesome gameroom).
People can tell if you are genuinely into this system or are just using it to dump for-sale info. If you want to last here I recommend changing your behavior.... conversely if you just are looking to drive traffic to help you pump your for-sale prices, then this is the wrong place, as 90% of members here are old-timers and are very tight with their purses and always hold out for bargains. At least start your auctions at $5 or something. :-k
Well, I am not really into this to just make money. I have been a fan and collector of the turbografx and PC engine for a long time now. Ever since I got my first turbografx Cd player when I was 12. Every now and again I buy a big lot of games from someone to beef up my collection and sometimes in this lot I end up with extra games that I do not need. This is when they end up on ebay.

yeppie and that price $99 is a JOKE ! I bought both of my Exile 1 and 2 (the part 2 came with the foil slipcase) for $80 on Ebay earlier this year !
-
Yes, and mine (without the slipcase) was $40... just for reference.
-
I bet 99.99 dollars that someone will buy it though, regardless of it being posted here. [-(
Hell if you set the bid at $0.99 it would probably get to what this went for, with the way the ebay turbo trend is going. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330446845357&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Well the first one was available new and sealed for like $10 not too long ago. :D
And a sealed WP went for like $300 last month, so $100 sounds about right for an eBay price.

Its obvious that US collectors want to pay stupid prices, not sane ones. They sort by price, highest to lowest, to find out what the best games are.
It will sell at $100. f*ck, it will sell for $1000. These eBay people are morons.
-
What gets me about people paying these prices is, are they recently finding out about these games and what they are going for so they want to collect it? Or are they closet turbo crazies that just have to have every damn game regardless of good or not? Also they might just be price gougers that just want to pay a stupid amount to up the price and resell it for an even more asinine amount. Thank god for owning a Duo when all the games were on clearance in stores.

I think its mainly just lonely losers with no anchor in life that are looking for something to be fanatical about. They chose the TG-16. Other people in similar situations chose Fugazi 7"s or vintage Toyota Corollas. Some became olympic gymnasts. Some joined Al Queda.

Hachi Roku, dorifto Zeta san!

I got Exile 1 sealed, with the turbo sticker for $12, 6 months ago. I got Exile 2, no slipcase for $40 (give or take $3-4) a few months ago. Both on eBay.
The Japanese versions I got complete with spine cards (they fell out of the manuals) for $6 and $17 respectively.
Other people in similar situations chose Fugazi 7"s........

I for one to add to this paid £25.00 for WP (with the cardboard slip!! And like new!) and £6.90 for Exile (New and seald) aprox. a year ago.
And I thought I made a killing there.

It didn't sell.. You owe us $99.99 each. Pay up sukka!
