Title: TurboGrafx Coffee Mugs
Post by: infUsiOn on August 08, 2010, 08:32:11 AM
So back in the day I got one of these free when I was working at Babbages... which I think turned into gamestop or something, I dunno. It says TurboGrafx 16 on one side and Bloody Wolf on the other. I know there were ones for Devil's Crush and Legendary Axe I? Maybe II?

Anyone I was wondering as to the value of this mug? Also was there ever a PC Engine one? No doubt, the mugs are rare, but I guess the question is, does anyone care? (<---look I rhymed!)

Probably quite rare it is, but may only have value to a collector.  There's no telling what it is worth... some would say $5, some might say higher than $50 - guess it just depends on the day.  It's pretty cool you have one, I love the old gear - post a pic.

Ah hell, just take a stab at pricing it. Whats the worsed thing that can happen, it ends up in the gouging forum of shame.... (Once known as "Gouging Much" now known as "Turbo Gouging on Ebay ( r.i.p. - gouging much )")  :D.

Shit, I would say someone would easily pay $29.99 for it..... of course it really doesn't matter what you sell it for, because someone else is probably just gonna turn around and sell it for a 200% mark up....

I don't have any Turbo mugs, but Mr Fulci does:

This is what I have. Mind the glare and dust. The mug itself is glossy black, and the decals are sharp;

I wouldn't pay any more than $11.99 for such a mug; I'd much rather have one of these sexy mugs (http://www.cafepress.com/pcenginefx.863348) than pay stupid money for one that's decades old.

That is a cool mug. If it had all the PC Engine hardware on it I'd buy it.  Henry now owns my "decades old" mug and I think when he opens the box he is going to be impressed as mine lived in a box, safe and mint until... Henry drinks some coffee out of it I suppose? hehe!

I'd say $5 the highest I'd go on something like that.
