I just took the plunge and bought a Pioneer Laseractive on ebay for like $200 with a bunch of games, but now that I look around it seems that there were some movies that are better on Laserdisc (from reading some random sites). I know a few of you guys are into that stuff, is there a site that lists what movies were either better on laserdisc because of commenataries or something (like some Criterion releases I've read about) or only available on laserdisc? Mainly I'm looking for info on classic movies like Disney stuff and older movies.
Anyway, any help would be KICKASS, I'm so stoked to try this system out. I love those old laserdisc games like Dragon's Lair so I think I'm gonna dig it.

Recently I have been having interests in Laseractive as well, but I certainly can't buy one anytime soon. I'll look into getting one in the future, even though things can seem to be a bit pricey.

There's a lot of movies either completely unavailable or unavailable in their original form on DVD but exist on laser disc, among these are the original non-special editions of the Star Wars trilogy, Lots of Disney movies (Song of the South, Melody time, there's a whole bunch) either unreleased in the US, or released in an edited way here.

Yeah Star Wars is a big reason why I want a Laser Disc player. I can't stand the DVD set that came out.
