I've been contemplating picking the PCE version of this up, primarily because it's considerably cheaper than the Turbo version. So my question is, do I need any knowledge of Japanese to play through this? I don't mind a little Japanese language (I primarily play PCE games anyways), but I just want to know if it's going to be difficult to make progress in the game because of the language barrier. Thanks!

From what I understand it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I would go for it.

I think personally its the way to go. I've found it a few places for $15-$20. Better than say 10x that price. Just print off a walkthrough if you get stuck, It's not like playing through Record of Lodoss War or Snatcher with no knowledge of the language.
I do have a question tho- do any of you own the Import version of Dungeon Master? I was looking for some information on that one to see if that is worth picking up. I've played through the US version a few times, and I don't think playing through it in another language would be all that difficult.
