I thought that the game was quite boring.  Looking forward to the Niners v. Shehawks tomorrow though.  And Dallas v. Washington tomorrow night.  The Niners are my team, but for some reason I have a soft spot for the Skins, and I like Donovan McNabb a lot.

Not much of an NFL fan, but watching some college football over the net now. (USC-Virginia)

But damn, games start at like 3am local time for me.  Can only really catch the late start west coast games over here  :(

Gogan, I'm a Bills fan, so we are fans of two of the three teams to not make the playoffs in the last 10 years.

Any Houston fans out there to complete the trifecta of decade long pain?

Shit yeah!  I love football!  I love all of the time-outs and commercials and standing around.  Almost too action-packed for me.  OMG I just fainted!

I'm with you here.  Football is my least favorite of the 4 main sports.  Baseball is my favorite, that has the most action.

I think soccer and tennis have more action honestly.

Tennis is fun to watch.   Its like live action PONG!

Yeah, I'd be bored to tears if I were to try watch football solely for the action aspect.  The game is a big chess match with stop-and-go action thrown in.

Man, you have strange concept of "action".  Mind you, I like baseball as well, but definitely not for the action aspect.  If one were to split a sport in a strategy/action continuum, baseball's one of the primary examples of a sport being mostly on the strategy side of the chart.  That's why baseball comes out so well on radio, whereas a more action-oriented sport, say like... hockey, just can't be delivered well in that medium.

Some crazy games yesterday.  WTF?  9ers get torched by the Seahawks??  lol

I was happy to see the Vikings lose.  Good stuff, Vincent Jackson going to come in and save their year?  I hope not.

I was totally rooting for the Lions yesterday, I think they got robbed with the touchdown that wasn't a touchdown at the end.  But a rule is a rule, even if its crappy.

John Elway sucks!!  Always did, always will!  ;)

Yea that was insane.  Freaking Lovie Smith... idiot.  I hate the bears.

I was so pissed after all of that went down and the bears still got the W.

ish, that sucks.  I think Detroit should hope Kolb starts for the Eagles too.  Vick tore us up pretty bad yesterday.  :C

It's not fair Vick, being the Dog murdering bastard he is, being as fast and unpredictable as he is! lol.  It was like everyone else was in slow motion when he'd take off.

Hey Gogan I'm a Lions fan from back in the day.... but have really lost interest in recent years. I thought that dumping Herman Moore and giving Bill Schroeder his number was a total debacle....

Jason Hanson is the only player I care about.... and pretty good proof that Wayne Fontes was great at adding talent through the draft.

I'm a fan of SMU! Would love to see the Run and Shoot return to the NFL... all the teams that ran it in the late 80s, early-mid 90s did well with it.

wasn't that "the run n' gun'?

It's mainly referred to as the Run and Shoot ... There are features of it which differentiate from other spread-type offenses.

Vick is awesome.  I wish the Bills would've picked him up.

In my opinion, the legal trouble cost him from being the Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods equivalent in the NFL.  Best player I have ever seen, period.

Jason Hanson has been the best player on the team for years, imo. Total clutch he is.

Aside from the terrible things the piece of crap has done to animals.  Yea, he is pretty awesome.

I think to even be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan would be a bit of a stretch of your imagination.  Show me the world championships!!
