Title: trading card games
Post by: geralds on September 11, 2010, 06:56:29 AM
When i was younger i used to be in to the hole trading card fad like pokemon and it was big when it first came out.  Well despite the amount of these cards i have there more of a burden when i just don't care for them no more. I have always  wanted to find the best way posible to get rid of them but i do not know how.  So anyone know any good way to get rid of these things.

Let me know if you find a solution to this. I have a mountain of Star Trek and Star Wars cards I would love to just GIVE to a good home.

I might be interested in some of the Star Wars cards if they are the ones made by Decipher.

Yeah, its the original Star Wars game from Decipher. Best CCG ever, IMO, but nobody will play it with me anymore. I have a lot of good face cards from the original set and the first two or three expansions. R2D2, Millennium Falcon, Obi Wan, etc etc.

You have to pay shipping, and you have to take the Star Trek cards too!

Just take them down to your local comic book/trading card game shop and sell them to the store.

I was addicted to MLB Showdown back in college and played at a local card shop.

I refuse to get rid of my massive collection in the off chance someone will play with me someday.

Have the Zombies boardgame and expansions too, and feel the same way about them.

Anyone near Buffalo, NY wanna play?

My friends, after much poking and prodding, have finally goaded me into buying a Magic: the Gathering deck.

I've been waiting for the fad to die for the last 15 years, and it hasn't yet.

It's not a fad. It is the leader of card games.

Could always sell 'em off to a comic shop/ gaming shop/ ebay.  Otherwise if you hit gaming conventions (Gencon or DragonCon) there are usually gaming auctions.

I actually preferred Star Trek over Star Wars.

Anyone looking to unload, MTG, Warlord, Spellfire, or MagiNation cards- I still play and would love to buy them off ya! :)

Tried ebay no one would buy them keeped getting asked what cards i had and then said they only wanted said card and refused to take everything ells.  Damn cards are just a finatual loss ><. I would have better luck selling a sports video game then these things.

Yeah, no comic shop will take these, even for free. When the stuff was current, certainly, but I'd have a better time trying to off a complete run of Youngblood at this point.

welcome to the world of TCG's.

the only shit that retained much value is the first few waves of Magic.  Everything else is just lol's now.

I still play the Sailor Moon card game.  It was better than pokemon.

but, L5R was better than everything.  even magic.  Magic went all stupid
