Title: World Stadium equivalent to NES RBI Baseball?
Post by: vestcoat on September 29, 2010, 05:49:05 PM
Hey dudes.  I have Pro Baseball World Stadium (copyright 86 & 88).  Is this the World Stadium game that was ported to the NES as RBI Baseball (which I don't have)?  If not, which World Stadium game is RBI Baseball?

Thanks.

If RBI Baseball is a Namcot game, then it's part of the same series.

I'm not too knowledgeable about the whole World Stadium / Family Stadium, etc thing, but the first Family Stadium (by Namcot) came over as R.B.I. Baseball by Tengen (they had a deal to import several Namco games.)  Subsequent R.B.I. Baseball games were reprogrammed or modified by Tengen themselves, so the series diverged from that point.
