Also, just sayin', that is overpriced if your buying as a gamer. The game, in my opinion, is pretty lame. These big, dull ass levels, unimaginative enemies and bosses, lame bonus stages. Thats just me, Revenge is my Bonk.

As a collector.... spend whatever it takes.... thats what collecting is about, spending REDICULOUS amounts of money. The price for which most of these games go for is insanity.... Predator Mode Insanity  :D

Bonk 3 is my favorite of the Bonk games on the Turbo, but Bonk 3 CD is awful. The music is mixed SO LOUD that it drowns out 95% of the sound effects. The other 5% that you can actually hear, are CD "exclusives" such as water "rushing" samples every (literally) 2 seconds at ear-splitting decibels. If you're just looking for a copy of the game to pick up and play, forget Bonk 3 CD. Go for the cartridge.

I played the cart VS CD the other day, and I liked the CD soundtrack. Only played the first level but might have been bored of the chip tunes for this one.

I was more just trying to point out that this game is overpriced period.... not that you would sell the game for too much. I mean if $120 is fair market then by all means sell it for that. I was just saying I think its overpriced due to the game not being that good.... but to a collector price seems irrelevant.

I recently bought the JP HuCard of this game and I like it quite a bit. Revenge probably is the best Bonk (Bonk 3 is a serious re-hash) but the jumbo bonk/mini bonk thing is fun for a change. Of course, being that the PC Genjin 3 HuCard is only $35, if that...I might feel differently if I were stupid enough to pay $125 for the same game with fruity music.

I like 3 better than Revenge.... In a nutshell: 3 has super-huge levels, which I love in a platformer. It recycles a couple level themes from part 2 early on, but there's so much to the game that in the grand scheme of things (and when it comes to Bonk 3, the scheme is grand) it's not bad. Tons of secrets, I like the bonus round system in 3 best of all the Bonks, and the soundtrack is completely original (where 2 recycled a handful of songs from Bonk's Adventure). Plus, the bounce-enemies-on-your-head-for-points is back after a curious absence in 2.

Here's my full review on Bonk 3 CD. (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/search/label/Bonk 3 CD)

I thought the levels were entirely to big and empty. The level design wasn't cohesive at all. They seemed to just be mash ups of unrelated things. The enemies were part rehash and part poorly designed originals. The Growth/Shrink system had little effect, except where you need to shrink to reach some tough spots that really in the end never seemed worth the hassle to get to.

I did really like that they brought the enemy bounce back and I like the spin animation better. But, Bonk's Revenge seemed to be enough of an homage to Adventure mixed with plenty of originality to be great. The levels were on the big side but not too big. Just overall seemed to be the most polished edition where as the third one seemed to be a quick cash in.

I like co-op games a lot, so Bonk 3 is the best to me for that reason.

Cadash is better than Bonk 3 as far as co-op goes, but Bonk 3 isn't far behind.

But in ShibimiMan you gotta team up to form the super weapons, that's great co-op too! But Cadash is good too, nice large character sprites!

I enjoy the CD version of Bonk 3 more. For some reason, the music in the regular version is bland... and for me what sets this game apart from the others in the CD quality music and the growth gameplay. Love all the Bonk games, Revenge is the best, but this is a close second for me.

Quoted for truth.  Bonk's Big Adventure is the best, especially with a second player.
