Title: WTB: Gate of Thunder
Post by: bartre on October 13, 2010, 05:39:19 PM
well, I need to fill one MAJOR hole in my TG set.
I'm looking for a CIB copy of Gate of Tunder.
I'm only interested in a copy that has all 3 manuals, and is in good or better condition.

if anyone's got one, please let me know!

You just mean 'complete'; there is no box for GoT.

Sure there is.  Its just pricey and you usually get a Duo console with it!

It came in a generic jewel case but Sparky made a custom spine label for it and there are a few custom made jewel case inserts for it on these forums.

Sparky's labels look authentic. Highly recommended. :)

so wait, it was just a disc and manual thing in a jewel case?
as in, no back insert at all?

that's kinda janky...

Yep.  The pack-in discs came in generic cases with manuals only, and the pack-in huey came with just a manual.

There's a few floating around, but these two were made by Joe:

F@ck'n awesome Necro.  :)

I also found a site that has custom made back inserts for the later released TTI hu card games with spine labels. It's perfect for those of us who use generic cd cases to stores these games.

They are on the right hand column.

Anyone know off-hand what dimensions that tray slip should be printed to? I looked up dimensions on the internet and each time it comes out way too small for some reason.

For me it was all trial and error. It took me three times to get it just right. If you want I can send you the Gate of Thunder tray slip that is perfectly adjusted and ready to print out as an attachment to your personal email. Let me know if you're interested, or unless someone comes up with the dimensions for ya.

Staples had a jewel case insert label maker kit. Each sheet of card stock paper makes 2 inserts and they are perforated where they fold into the jewel case. That's what I used to make mine.

The template I use for printing liners measures 4 5/8" x 5 15/16", which works out to ~216dpi for Joe's image (1280x1000).
