Title: has anyone modded a pc engine/super cd rom2/duo with optical output

has anyone tried of sucessful done this? is it possible, considering it used cdrom, the quality must be superb? with rgb for best video, surely, with optical output this console would be the best sounding 16/8bit console

I hear people do it on a snes, surely, it would be better on an pc engine super cd rom

If the output is only stereo I dont see how an optical output would make it sound better?
