In the spirit of Hallowe'en, who's watched some good, bad or downright cheesy Horror films lately!?!?! and a quick critque! Have a safe one everybody!
Friday the 13th (2009) - decent update of the historical series, a few creative kills, and of course some nice booby shots to piss ol' Jason off! haha

Jason's lair was pretty lame.... and I am a huge Friday fan, but that one is my least favorite of the series. Friday 4 and 6 are genre bests, in my opinion.
Recently I watch:
Paranormal Activity 2 (theater) - Not bad, but the pacing was not as good as the first. Part 3 is in the works, but I don't know if the charm is there anymore.
My Soul to Take (theater) - This was a throwback to Wes Cravens better work, and although it wasn't as good as his earlier stuff, I kinda dug it.
Dead Girl (DVD) - I watched this on a friend's recommendation, and it was awesome. I don't want to spoil anything, so I won't get into the plot, but if you are a horror fan you should check this out.
Basket Case (DVD) - Watched this last night in the spirit of Halloween. One of my low-budget favorites, and my girlfriend had never seen it. Toward the end of the movie when Belial gets his girl, that scene is one of my favorites in horror history.
Nosferatu (thanks TCM) - Never saw this movie looking so good. My cheap DVD transfer was garbage compared to what was on HD cable. A classic, pure and simple.

I wanted to see Paranormal Activity 2 but I couldn't find it on the internet so.. we saw Mirrors. It didn't feel like a horror movie, more like drama/action but it was okay to watch anyway.

Hills remake or the original? They were soooo similar...but not as bad as the stupid Psycho shot-for-shot remake! [-X
Clash: thnx for the suggestions! But I just can't agree this new Friday is the worst of the bunch....i mean c'mon! WHERE have you seen a girl with nipple placement so perfect???!!!

Dead Heat is pretty damn good, I like all the effects in that movie.
House 2 just makes me sad, House 1 is such a classic.
New Friday may have had good nipple, but Jason setting traps was so distracting I couldn't focus on it!
I just watched the new AMC show Walking Dead last night, and for a TV show, it was quite good.

Tonight I'll be checking out The Walking Dead, as well as getting back to basics with some classic Shatner in The Kingdom of Spiders.
Hahah, man, i still remember that scene where the kid gets stuck on the swings and there's spiders all over the lawn! It really "bugged" me when i was little  Sorry, i just couldn't resist hehe!
Strangely....we had a TV station play TeenWolf and TeenWolf Too during Thanksgiving...."GIVE ME A KEG OF BEER"

Hilarious. That's exactly the scene I always think about with that movie. It always stuck with me as a kid as well. heh
