I'm trying to do the retrozone usb kit to adapt a turbo pad to usb.
I have it all wired up right but UP and BUTTON 1 don't work.
I sent them an AIM message and pictures of the kit. They told me something about soldering some pads.
I didnt hear anything back from them so I am wondering if anyone here can post pictures of the front and back of a working kit. If I can see whats different I can get it working.
Thank you!

Please post the photos of your project so we can help, if necessary.
Good luck with this.

I've never even heard of this, so I wouldn't be surprised if no one here is able to help you. Good luck, however.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to get the kit working. Retrousb is on AIM and he had me send pictures of the mod. I was told how to fix it and now it works great. It was nothing I did, it was something that should have been done before it was shipped to me.
I used a broken turbo-tap for this kit. Instead of soldering to a pad, i soldered to the bottom of one of the turbo-tap female plugs.
Now I can use any turbopad or turbo stick I want with magic engine on my PCs. Its great! The only thing not great is the turbo switches work, but they are not nearly as fast as on real hardware. Not really a big deal though. Magic Engine allows you to assign keys to turn turbo on and off. Not as authentic, but it gets it done. :)
It really is great being able to use a turbopad with the PC. Its a normal HID usb device so you can use it as a normal pc controller for anything. :)

I think I would be more interested in a Turbo kit for Wii....that would be pretty cool. I do like my Classic SNES wii controller though....

and there is also just the adapter option:

Edit:
based on what I read here, I would go with the raphnet adapter. More mapping configurations, etc.

Looking at the picture are you trying to mod a multi-tap? Have you checked with the, that this will work? As the mod may only work on singe pads. Not 100% just a thought.

Well I tapped the solder points on the bottom of the multitap board. I chose port 5 because, well, that would have been the least used port. It works fine, but it doesnt work as a multi tap.
It only works as a single controller. I like it because I can switch between my Turbo stick and Turbo pad. I like the pad for Ys type games and the stick for shooters.
My only problem with this usb mod is the turbo switches are too slow. However with the stick if you slide the turbo speed all the way to the fastest, it actually works really well. With the pad I have to rely on the turbo function of magic engine. (wich is fine, i did a side by side comparison and the speed of magic engine turbo is the same as moving the switch up on real hardware)
