Hi guys...
Does anyone have one of these for sale at a reasonable price? If not, if someone could point me in the direction of a proper replacement, I'd appreciate it. :)

The 273-356 adapter (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3807943) (w/ 'Q' plug) from Radio Shack works well. It ain't cheap, but you'll probably pay just as much for an original power supply, which wouldn't be as reliable due to age.

Thanks, Necro. I'll look into that if need be.

Worked like a charm, Necro. Now I just need to find a Turbografx to Duo controller adapter.

Good to hear Pat. Those T-16 to Duo controller adapters are hard to find (on ebay). Hopefully someone can help you out. It's worth tracking one down, especially to use that awesome turbo stick for the shooters.

I just remember coming across this link in one of the threads a while back. There is this European seller that sells the controller adapters that you are looking for, new in the box for 17.90 euros. I have not personally bought from them before, but I believe others here have.

Thanks for tracking that down, Chany. I'll have to think about that, as that's a little pricey for a little adapter. Then again, what choice would I have? :-k It's funny that I looked around my place and actually had 2 PC Engine to Turbo adapters laying around from old PC parts, but now I won't be needing them at all.

Wait, so are there pc (comuter) cable adapters that will allow you to use a turbo pad on a duo/pce? If so, I'd like to know what these are called so I can search for some online. :)

Another option is to swap the cable from a dead PCE controller into a TG-16 controller (or vice versa). Alternatively, you can slap a controller cable into a tap, adding a much needed longer cable and making it compatible with whichever console you want.

Not a bad idea, Necro... but looking online, it seems like PC engine controllers would cost the same as getting the adapter itself. Yes, I plan on just hooking up a turbo tap to the Turbo Duo. :)

Yeah, it's best if you can salvage a cable from a dead controller. You could also chop up a generic extension cable from monoprice (or the like), but you'd have to figure out which wire goes where.

Wow at radio shack that turns out to be 37 bucks....lol
