Hey guys,
My TurboExpress has just lost video  - I had a local guy replace a couple of the sound capacitors a few years back, but now I'm looking for someone to give it a complete overhaul. Anyone here have any recommendations on who can do this kind of work well? I love this little machine...
I'm located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada but have the original box and packaging and can ship it anywhere.
thanks

Red Ghost, chop5, Duo-R, and myself (and maybe blueraven too) all do repair type work. :P I just did a full cap swap on a turbo express not but a few days ago. I'm out of stock of 4.7uf 50v capacitors, but I should be getting more in soon.
Here's a pic of the last one I did:

Wow! That's wonderful... I'll send you a PM :) Thanks...

Sweet, a fellow Ottawa Turbo Grafx fan. Do you have any soldering experience yourself? Your issue might be a single cap replacement as per this sticky; http://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=5015.0 But I understand the full cap replacement if you want to do some preventative maintenance.
I'm on the hunt for a Turbo Express myself, maybe i'll get a chance to practice on a broken one.
