So let's take a virtual visit to a Hard Off shop.They sell everything 2nd hand (or overstock), Laptops, musical instruments, blenders, you name it! I am only focusing on the game aspect of the shop.
Let's go!
This is the Tagajo Store located in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture.

But the treasures and tragedies are often found in the JUNK CORNER. :(
The broken, unwanted, forgotten...they all wait for someone to come
and appreciate (and fix) them. I think of the blue bins as treasure chests.
Not everything is broken, but most things were not cared for very well.

That's it! Some stores don't have much, some stores have treasure troves.

Now chops knows where his stuff comes from :) (and all my spec. hueys).
I visit several stores weekly and all with pure man-power. It's called HO cycle :)
My record was 6 stores in a day (all kanagawa pref.).

Ah, hard-off.
I'd be fun to just go there once in while for shits & giggles (My other fav was book-off). I'd reckon a good portion of my current collection came from Hard-Off junk section. Now, the whole "junk" section to me really didn't mean junk to me -- I'd find some *pristine* condition stuff there, and at least for me, it was rare that game CDs in the junk section would even have a visible scratch. It just really meant no returns, if anything.

I could take some similar pictures from a local used game store, but nobody wants to see piles of boring and likely overpriced GBA games.
