They have an impressive array of NES repros including the Famicom Splatterhouse translated, and Donkey Kong with all four levels! Awesome stuff! :D Prices aren't too shabby either.

Famicom Splattehouse translated? LOL! The original game only has
about 4 lines of actual Japanese text in it.

It'll still be nice to play it in English though. Too bad we never got a N.A. release BITD.

Nice they have a repro of the vs smb that version was definitely more diffcult then the nes version.
-
Personally, i'd rather just build the repros myself, but there's a few that are out of my skill range, namely the vs. games.
that being said, it's pretty cool to see the vs. games on NES carts

I picked up the NWC from these guys a year or so ago for a game tourny night I had at my house. It was a bit pricey, but it was of awesome quality. I may go back for the college championship if I had another tournament night.

Drop me a line any time you want me to "sample" any of your products.

Yeah, that version is frickin' brutal -- and I only passed it on the SNES All-Stars cart, having saves and all. I think I got to the fire power-up like twice in the whole game. Not because there are a lack of fire power-ups, but I couldn't last long enough to get to a fire power up without getting hit once I became Super Mario.

You're thinking of Lost Levels aka SMB2 (J). I think the VS one is the version of SMB1 that would frequently show up in PlayChoice 10 arcade cabs.

Ah, that's what I get for not reading carefully. :-"
I actually do recall the vs version too now that I take a closer look at it... IIRC, random little things like certain blocks not being in certain places, etc...

It's a lot harder most of the jumps are longer. Beetles replace Goombas in a lot of places. Warps are in somewhat different places. It's a revised map version of the standard NES release.
