Title: Does Garou Denetsu 2 need a 6 button pad?

it's really cheap, but I'm guessing it might need an investment into an Avenue 6 pad.
Also, I heard that the Avenue was crap and that there's a really good Hori pad, but I've never seen it. Anybody know about this?

Yeah it does need. At least you need an Avenue 4 pad.

The Avenue 6 is fine. Its basically the same build quality as the standard pads but with more buttons. A lot of people here love it. IMO its decent, but not amazing. It certainly isn't "crap".

The Hori is better, but its a lot harder to find.

the hori fighting commander PC is great, but I hate that you always hit the turboswitches on the most left side, when performing specials.

Got it for £1.50!  Now I need to keep an eye out for an Avenue 6...

yeah, usual prices for a sealed garou 2 lies between 50cents and a dollar :)

You can play the game w/ a 2 or 6 button Pad, but a 6 Button Pad works a lot better for Garou Denetsu 2

Yeah, Hit Japan used to actually sell them by the case. Maybe he still does.
