Title: Adventure Island

Been playing Adventure Island after someones recommendation, but I'm not really sure what's going on.  I do the first bit, kill the boss, and then the castle blows up.  And then I skip around as a dragon going through all these worlds, and then at the end of the first bit I did, there's a door that takes me back to the village  :-k

Also, I'm not sure what to do with the equipment.  Is there a guide?

You're playing one of the best games on the system. Don't give up!

I actually tried to convince some of my SNES/Genesis friends how awesome the TG16 is, and this was probably the game they liked the most.

Really? I'd put other games above this one.  PC Genjin 2 and PC Denjin are superlative examples.  In fact, those 2 are probably my favorite games.

adventure island aka wonder boy III - dragons trap is one uberfantastic game, once you got into it. probably the best wonder boy of all, and sure one of the best huey ever made.

that doesnt mean that pc genjin 1 & 2 aren't very great games too.

I'll have to agree w/ you on this as I prefer PC Genjin 2 & PC Denjin over Adventure Island, though Adventure Island is still pretty darn good :)
