What are they? Just curious. Any info would be great!

Depends on what you're comparing it to; like the Duo-R it's more reliable than a briefcase or OG Duo, but the RX isn't any better than an R.  True it came with a 6-button controller, but most people don't care for it and would rather use an Avenue Pad anyway.

The RX pad sucks, get an Ave 6 with a Duo-R.

-
Good to know. I just want something reliable, finally. Thanks for the quick info.

-
No problem. My issue with it was that the D-Pad was too stiff. I think Arkhan started a thread about this recently.

The cd lid button is purple too. This is nice if you like the color purple.

The Duo R/X have the video and power cable ports in the back, which is a big deal to people like Joe Redifer.

The DuoR/X also have a much sturdier exterior than the regular Duos.

The regular Duo's HuCard slot cover can pop off and break easier that the sturdy permanent Duo R/X cover.

The Duo R/X lack the earphone jack the original has. They also stain and show dirt and wear.

The Duo R/X can run on the PSOne AC adaptor.

The Duo R is sort of a cream white with a white CD door button and a logo at the middle/center of the top. I prefer the look of the Duo RX, which is a more like a pale gray with a purple CD door button and a stylized logo at the top left corner of the top.

Original black Duo looks the best.
Duo R/RX laser is likely to last longer as it was released later.

If possible get an original black Duo with a new laser  :D

And caps - they're more likely to fail than the lazer.

 Haha, very true.

Mine looks like it has a hint of blue in it, which i think would help with yellowing.

the best thing of the RX is, that it probaly will be the last pce standing (without moddings).

 I didn't know that. That's awesome!
