From our good friends Hit-Japan.
Feel free to snap up that bad boy.
-
that's pretty if only it came with a CGII pad to match.
-
yeah, they're all over the place though :D
-
The Super-CD looks kinda yellow compared to the CG. Would a retrobrite bath get 'em to match?

Didn't look that far down, but judging by the side panels of the SCD, it does indeed look like retr0brite would fix it up.

I have a core graft 2 pad that I can swap with somebody for a nice condition pad with turbo. That way if somebody wins it they have a matching set. Just want to offer that encase that was preventing somebody from buying it.

Here's another:

Soop-
I saw that one earlier today. It seems like a very fair price since it is free shipping. I almost was tempted to snag it but than it looks kinda weird on the cd part. It looks like dust but could be some kinda stain or fading. It's hard to tell from the pics. Either way that seems like a good price. I'm sure it will be gone in the next day or two.
-
I dont see it, but I wonder if it comes with that little power cable to connect between the scd and the cgfx2.. :-k

Good question. Auction states "...with original 2 AC adapters , AC cable..." Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's not included since they're giving 2 ac adapters.
-
i can get you guys one of those little cables for about $9 if anyone here decides to order it and it doesn't have one included.

Crikey, here's another: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC-Engine-SUPER-CD-ROM-Console-CORE-GRA-FX-2-473-/300561549198?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45fadd478e
I swear they were hard to come by when I wanted one.

I've got my eye on one of these as well. I already have a Duo-R back in the US and an IFU-30 setup here in Japan. Besides -maybe- getting a Laseractive + PAC setup one day, the Super CD-Rom is the last piece of hardware I want to own.
-
Nice to,bad money is tight right now i kind of miss having a scdr2.Oh well for the time being owning a duo-r plus TG16&TurboCD is enough for me.
Still one of days i like to snag a supergrafx at least.
-
I'de rather have a duo-r than the core-cdRom setup.

I did this

Hah, no shit. I can't remember the details, but I thought the port was a different shape from the TG16 to the SCD-ROM? (But all the corresponding male/female connector pins match up -- does that sound right?)
Either way, if that works, that's the first TG16 + SCD-ROM2 setup I've ever seen, though in this case, might as put it with the SuperGrafx as the footprint would be about the same.
-
Yes it works!
And yes the ports are somewhat diffrent in shape but not that much so modding the TGX is pretty easy.
All connector-pins ar exactly the same.
Some small modding of the TGx shell is also needed so one does not have to mod the super-CD player shell (I'd rather mod one of many TGX than one of the few super-CD players)
The set up plays every single game JAP or US exept SGX offcause...
-
That's really cool. I like the way it looks.

Another one! This one is boxed, and better value.
