Can you only shoot straight ahead? Otherwise that doesn't look too bad, though it makes Final Zone II look a lot less crappy in comparison.
Yes you only shoot straight ahead, and you have 3 members on your team. You press the other button to kind of alter your formation a bit, but really you just barrel forward like mongoloids and shoot stuff.
but, I also like Hydlide and Keith Courage and China Warrior. im f*ckin stupid.
LOL. This is why I love this forum. :D

The PC88 version is dithered like a mother f*cker (like all PC88 games). But quite a bit of people tend to blur the crap out of the game screen, thinking that's what it should look like ( ). Except that fails when you can't read certain high res text - doh! Here's the unfiltered version of the PC88 version:
I assume the MSX one looks better?

I don't think the person in the original video has blurred it thinking thats what it should look like, especially considering the uploader is Japanese and probably knows more about what the thing should look like than any of us. Hell the person probably owned one BITD. Maybe hes playing on a real setup and captured the video. Who knows.
Some people use the "RF Simulation" blur because they want to relive playing this stuff on crappy old TVs with RF input (and screw-on RF boxes!)
I think the blur in that video is just shitty video quality in general.
