Wanted to see what everyone is using here. Here is my setup:
Xoom 3.1 rooted
Thunderbolt stock rooted
Droid Charge - Altered Beast rooted
OG Droid - Gingerbread - Peter Alfonso
iPhone stock
iPad1 stock
All on Verizon
I am thinking about getting Xperia Play (Playstation phone)
-
HTC touch pro2.
custom built rom.
running on cricket
-
I understand the question, but none of the answers given. What the f*ck are you people talking about?
I'm using an iPhone 4, Verizon. I haven't hacked it because I just don't see the point. It has more capabilities than I'll ever be able to use as it is.
-
I don't want this to be a iPhone Android debate but owning both the iPhone is kinda boring but maybe I need to jailbreak mine
-
I have to say the Verizon iPhone is legit no dropped calls. We are talking about custom software on Android. I don't believe iPhone has custom software available just ability to be jailbroken but i could be wrong.
-
iPhone 3G
still kicking @$$ and taking names.
-
i have heard of running android on the iphone.
mine is windows mobile 6.5, not android
-
Droid X on verizon
rooted + running darkslide 4.2 rom
Seems to be working great so far! :P
-
Beemer I forgot I also have a DX running gingerbread, do you have Netflix on yours? DX still kicks ass
-
Havent tried Netflix on it yet since I closed my netflix account a little while ago. Maybe I'll give it a shot!
-
Are you on gingerbread, i think that is a requirement. If so i got a 30 day free code:

LG Optimus V thru Virgin, running Android 2.2. No rooting or jailbreaking required; you can open it up yourself and run anything on it. I use it to test my own apps with it all the time.
-
T-mo Defy(mb525), rooted running cm7 by Quarx, still on beta2 but RC0 came out so I know what I'm doing this week.
-
Ima get a Win7 phone once I am due for upgrade.
screw iPhones. Apple is the DEVIL.

I am a big fan of Android now... but Windows 8 could really be awesome.
Probably going to get the Droid 3 when it comes out this Summer, then Windows 8 Phone for my next upgrade.

I have the cheapest Nokia piece of crap I could find.
And since the only place I do not have wifi is in my car, I use an iPod touch for everything else.

While all my buddies give me crap for carrying two devices around...
Droid X rooted + wireless tether app + ipod touch = best of both worlds!

Running the craptacular Samsung GT-B7722 running the sucky TouchUI.
Why? Because it was the "best" Dual Sim phone with the ability to have both sims active. If I'm talking using one sim, and someone calls the number on the other sim, the phone acts like I have call waiting. Many dual sim phones will kill the other sim when one is active giving a busy signal, or something similar.
It's useful when travelling overseas, allows me to make cheap calls without roaming charges while still being reachable in case of emergencies.
The camera on it is decent, but the whole UI tends to "freeze" often enough to be frustrating for a touch-screen phone. (I.E. The touch screen will stop reacting for a few minutes at a time.)
I don't suppose anyone else know a good dual sim phone? :P
My previous phone was an LG Vu (which allowed me to use a great sub-smartphone plan that allowed me to use an unlimited 3G plan). It still had it's kinks but didn't freeze like my new phone, but it didn't have the dual sim functionality.
I also have a first gen iPod Touch and a couple of Android Tablets (a Witstech A81G and a GTablet running a hacked rom). The iPod isn't jailbroken but the tablets are rooted and running Froyo (with some gingerbread elements). I'm looking keeping my eye on the alpha HoneyComb ports for the GTablet. In all cases, I use a MiFi (3G -> WiFi hotspot) to use the iPod Touch and Tablets on the go.

yeah cause having a fast/easy to work with way to get indie games onto a device is totalllly crappy. Especially when you can build it for 3 platforms at the same time.

Gordon Gekko gets one of those when he is released from jail in Wall Street 2.

(iPod Touch 4G)
I initially wanted the iPhone 4 until I learned the iPod-version was pretty much the same minus the cell phone but for less than half the price so.. I went with that. My killer-app: Espgaluda 2.
-
I have a jailbroken Iphone 4. Im junking it once Ice Cream Sandwich comes out. I could not stand this phone if it weren't jailbroken and dont get me started on itunes.

Motorola Droid. It is not rooted; the only reason I was ever tempted to do so was for tethering, but that is allowed now.

OG Droid is pretty bad ass when rooted running Peter Alfonso software
