Just saw this...a sad day. LOVED Columbo, Princess Bride, and The Inlaws. :(
-
Dammit! Rest easy, Columbo.
-
no more just one more things....!
-
NOOOOOOO
-
He will live on forever in our hearts
-
One of my heros of all time.
-
Well, he was really old and had a good life. The sad ones are guys like Bill Hicks, Carl Sagen, etc.
PF was in at least 4 of my all time favorite movies (Wings of Desire, Far Away So Close!, The Princess Bride, and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World) and I loved Collumbo. He left the word a better place than it was when he got here, and that's what a human is supposed to do, in whatever way they can.

I thought he was funny as hell in Vibes.
-
Oh shit, I forgot about Vibes. I love that movie. You're right, he's great in that.
-
Very sad indeed. Columbo was one of the best tv-show "of" ever. Also loved him in almost any movies he appeared.
R.I.P. Peter :(
Yeah and Vibes was great!!
-
Oh i also loved him in The Great Race.
Push the "Turbo" Button, Max!!!
-
Loved him too guys. Columbo and The Princess Bride were always favorites of mine. The Princess Bride was in my regular rotation of VHS tapes that I watched while on summer vacation bitd. I can't choose which had the thickest summer time nostalgia, Princess Bride or The Last Starfighter. Both, by sheer coincidence, have video games in their stories.

So are you a Win Wenders fan or a Nick Cave fan?
-
Both!
-
Loved old one eye, was an under rated actor.
I wonder if he's figuring out what killed him
-
A great guy. Worth reading his autobiography btw.
FWIW, here's a tribute to the great man I made a while back. Unfortunately, they kind of dicked about with adverts so it doesn't look as neat as it once did, but it's still amusing to me:

*edit* huh, looks like it's not working properly. And I can't remember how you were supposed to load different things. It looks like it just changes every once in a while.
