Title: My collection atm
Post by: 8bitForLife on July 25, 2012, 04:35:12 PM
This is my collection atm. What isn't shown as its packed still from move is virtual boy + games atari 2600 7800 + games gba games ds games jaguar+ cd. This is far from a brag just finally posting my collection somewhere so i can link it to my friends.  O and a metal slug skill stop machine. Need to get some floating shelves to put some consoles on them above my tv/computermoniter were I do my interwebs. Any suggestions on shelves or just anything to display stuff nicer. Currently everything is on a rack i got from a Kmart metal with poster board for the shelves.

I have agarest war sealed, and the only thing I hate about it is that the box is really flimsy so I have to watch that the plastic doesn't bubble or bunch up in certain spots.

Nice Unicron, man!  I wanted to get one to display with my classics TF's, but I really just don't have room for a figure that big. :/

The best option is to design and have your furniture custom built. The TV (CRT, between 20 - 27") would go in the center, above it, all of your AV switch boxes. The consoles would be inside squares, tall enough for any top loading unit. Power strips strategically located all over the furniture (you wont turn on everything at the same time, so no worries here). Corded controlled systems would go below the TV as much as possible.
A 2.1 speaker system should be more than enough...

Or a soundbar. Some of them (particularly the Vizio ones) sound great! Less worry over stringing wires across the room for individual speakers.

ZVOX (http://www.zvoxaudio.com/) also makes great soundbars. I've been using a ZVOX Mini in my bedroom since 2007. After I got it I could not go back to the tinny sound found in most flat panels.
