Hi,
I recently got a super cdrom2 console (the grey CDROM unit ), the local retro game shop guy replaced all the caps but still no cd music (eg, no audio cd music ). However, the game sound is good. For example, for shooting game, I can hear bomb, shooting sound but all no background cd music. I bet it must be some broken traces due to capacitors leakage. Any one see similar issue before? Any luck how to fix it?
Thanks
Jimmy

There is a Repair/Mod section where you are likely to get the best information.
The first question you'll be asked is if you are actually playing real games as the issue you are describing is common with cdr copies.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am playing real cd game ( not cdr )
I will check out the repair/mod section.
