Title: (CLOSED) Turbo Everdrive Group Buy ORDERED!
Post by: jtucci31 on July 20, 2014, 08:38:15 AM
So I've been wanting an Everdrive for awhile and seeing interest in other threads has prompted me to start this thread. I'd be willing to organize this group buy for some Everdrives.

I'll purchase them from here: http://shop.retrogate.com/Turbo-EverDrive-TURBO-ED.htm

Buying one on your own runs you around $85. This group buy should aim to save you around $10-15. It's $60 per person if 10 are involved so adding in little shipping fees here and there will still cut the cost of buying on your own. I'm figuring out how much the initial shipment of 10 everdrives will be so once i have that i can get a better number for everyone. I'd say now you're looking at maybe $70. I would need the money upfront before i bought it as I don't have that kind of cash to shell out, sorry. I'm sure most of you understand how this works but if not I'll try to explain better.

So I'd like to get a list going of people who are interested and can pay within a week or two (ideally). Once i get a list of how many people want an everdrive i can get exact prices and we can get this ball rolling.

The list:

1-jtucci31 paid
2-Sadler paid
3-BlueBMW paid
4-NightWolve paid
5-Wallzter paid
6-jlued686 paid
7-wildo2ne paid
8-FiftyQuid (Canada) paid
9-Keith Courage paid
10-spenoza paid
11-esteban paid
12-MrFulci paid
13-TheClash603 paid
14-DragonmasterDan paid
15-Medic_wheat paid
16-munchiaz paid
17-BigT paid
18-Rosser paid
19-mrhaboobi (New Zealand) paid
20-reson8er paid

This list should be fully updated. If i missed anyone, please let me know.

UPDATE: So the price for one everdrive plus shipping and expenses will be $70 per person. I feel that's pretty fair and saves everyone around $15 or so if they were to buy it on their own like i said before. I'll start sending PM's to everyone today with my paypal information and whatnot. Hopefully the money can get pooled together by the end of the week and i can order the everdrives then.

Tracking Numbers are out! Everyone should have theirs!!

Is the Usb port required? Is there a shell available to protect it?  If so what would be the price with that?

Here is a direct quote from NightWolve explaining it. I was asking him questions earlier.

"We don't need the USB option. That's basically so you don't have to eject the SD card and insert it to a computer all the time to add/delete more ROMs. The whole ROM library is available and doesn't change unless you count hacks/translations which are rare enough to not justify needing immediate USB plug'n'play support to modify the SD card.

It's just like phones/cameras, it's convenient to not have to pull out the SD card all the time by instead using the USB cable, but not necessary."

So basicslly, like he said, we don't need the USB option. You just use a mini SD card about 2gb in size and it gets the job done.

The shell is about $10-15 or so. There is an everdrive thread in the TG16 discussion thread (ill link it later, I'm on my phone now) that has some good info on everdrive stuff and links to cases as well. We won't be buying cases so that's on you.

Add me obviously, the money's been sitting in my paypal account for this. Thing is, how do you transfer without incurring paypal fees ? Any time somebody donated to me, paypal always took a cut. I recall someone doing a check like action and that avoided it, but yeah.

If you send via gift there should be no fees for the recipient.

Shit I hadn't thought of that, good point. I know if you link your bank account to your paypal you can get past those fees. But I'm sure not everyone has that. I guess I'll have to ask for a little more if that's the case.

Everyone should be able to send as gift.  If the source of the funds isn't your paypal balance or bank account then the fee will be charged to the sender when gifting.

Yeah, don't use a credit card, it's only fair that they'll have to charge CC processing fees then. I have over a hundred in paypal balance so I should be good. If not, I'd resort to mailing him a personal check.

Where are the covers/cases available for sale? The last place I looked, they were not available anymore.

I may be interested in joining in on this, it just depends on where cases are available.

I mean the cases that cover the board to protect it from damage inserting it into a system and whatnot,  not anything like a storage case.

I don't really mind shipping to Canada. I'd like to include as many people who want an everdrive as possible. I may ask you for a few bucks more if that's ok, but it should not be anything too drastic. I'd appreciate people telling me in advance if they live outside of CON U.S. So i appreciate ya letting me know FiftyQuid.

Here is the Everdrive thread that was on here not too long ago and gave me the idea for the group buy: https://www.pcenginefx.com/forums/index.php?topic=16526.0

It's got some good info about everdrives and how to load them and such. It also includes the cases:
"Classic Style" http://shpws.me/q6MW
"Super Low Profile Style" http://shpws.me/q6MX

(taken from the maker here (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?42373-Custom-Turbo-Everdrive-Shell))

So that's for people asking about those. Now i contacted the retrogate store and they told me that shipping any amount of everdrives would be $5. (Seems strange but it's what they said so I'll go with it). With that being said the price per individual should decrease, however I'm still figuring out logistics. So i would still keep that $70 range in your head just in case as that should be the top dollar we pay per everdrive.

Thanks for the information on the shells. last I looked at that place, they were OOS or something, but that was a while ago. Could have also been for an older model shell.

Wow, so getting 10+ participants wasn't all that hard. Fast! ;)

So yeah, at least $70 per person versus the $84 you'd pay buying it individually. Now that excludes something for jtucci's time + $1 per his own box/shipping material. I would be happy to at least save $10 bucks on this, so up to $74 would be fine by me - it might not work out that way, but yeah. What sucks is USPS rates are high in Illinois where he's at, so I'm doubtful he can get a $5 standard shipping rate anywhere in the US, but we'll see. You can save a dollar by not paying for a tracking number, but that'll suck if there's a problem.

Damn 16 people already. I'm glad that this is working out well so far.

I went to the post office today in my town and i was informed that shipping in small flat rate boxes is only $5.80 pretty much anywhere CON U.S. I asked about Canada and they said that would be around $20, so we will have to talk about that Canadians. Once again Please tell me if you are outside of CON U.S. I'm sure we can work something out, it would just be nice to know ahead of time. I feel as though the small flat rate boxes are a pretty good idea as it should fit the everdrive nicely. I can only order 5 at a time from the  USPS website for free so I'll have to figure that out. (Should i order 5 at a time? Or is there a grace period). I also forgot to ask about tracking numbers so I'll get on that soon as well, because I'm sure tracking numbers are wanted.

We definitely have enough people already to go in on this, but i feel like we should wait to see if anyone else wants to get in on the group buy. I'm thinking maybe by this Saturday for the deadline to be. And then after that I'll start PM'ing everyone about Paypal junk and whatnot. If anyone objects and thinks i should wait longer (or end it sooner and order sooner) let me know!  :)

Also the list of people should be updated as i try to get them on there as soon as i see them (if i didn't then i would for sure get lost)

If you go to your local post office, then you should be able to get as many small flat rate boxes as you need.  Also, if you register online at the post office website, then I believe that if you print out the shipping labels and pay for them online, then small flat rate to CON US is only $5.25, so a small savings there.

That's good to know about printing the labels, thanks. But when i went to the post office the lady told me to just order them from online because she didn't want me taking their whole stock of them (and at this point I'll need about 20). I can only request 5 at a time from online which sucks.

Edit: I was able to order 25 boxes from USPS. The website has a max set at 5 yet the USPS app on the iPhone let me order in increments of 5, 25, and 50. Not sure how that makes sense but i got that settled  :)

Well, depends on you and if you're willing to do all this remailing work once the order arrives. Careful not to overwhelm yourself with it, just sayin'. First time out, I'd probably only wanna handle 10 (I would've stopped it there), not 20.

And to answer mrhaboobi, uhhh, let me check on that. Like others I'm sure it's fine and I'll just ask for some more money if that's ok to compensate shipping.

USPS must think you guys are retarded.  A flat rate ship box is exactly that.  It's a great deal for anyone in the USA as it offers convenience, but it's a ripoff when shipping anywhere else in the world.  Give USPS $5.80 or $20 and they'll ship it anywhere.  $5.80 anywhere in the CON US is accurate.  Yeah, they might take a hit going to one spot, but they make up for it in others.

$20 to Canada is a joke.  Please don't use a flat rate box.  Just box it yourself and ship it.  The Customs forms are a breeze.  Just mark it as a gift and make sure the $$$ is marked as under $99.  Heck I can do the forms from my location for you.  Sorry if I sound pissed, but I'm so sick of the post office in Canada and the USA shaking their cocks at each other.

BlueBMW, do not take a hit on shipping for me.  I still consider myself in debt to you for the SNES.

Sorry small flat rate for all CON U.S. seems like a reasonable deal and relatively easy.

I have some extra boxes that are smaller laying around my house, are you suggesting i just use that instead of a small flat rate and it will be cheaper?

I sent a SNES part (the cart connector) in a bubble-mailer to a friend in Nova Scotia, Canada for $7.80, and that's cause I cheaped out and saved a dollar by not paying for a tracking number. It made it there OK, but I wasn't happy about asking him for a few more bucks to cover the shipping...

Less than four pounds of weight can go first class international which is usually pretty quick and relatively cheap.  If I had to guess, the everdrives will probably be $7-$9 to ship this way.

I have shipped to various locations in Canada fairly recently.  Small flat rate box was like $22.  :(  Using my own box and sending it first class was about $13-14.

I'm fine with paying $10-$15 to ship up here to me.  It's the flat rate box I have a hate on for.  It inflates the cost of everything shipped to Canada.  It's practically the only option left on eBay because people have gotten too lazy to box things themselves and fill out a form.

Eeek, so we did get to 20... I am kinda surprised there were lots of us that still hadn't gotten one. Well, hope things go smoothly. Anyway, saw your generic PM sent out to everyone, so I'm gonna hop over to Paypal for a second and take care of sending the money to ya right now, get it out of the way.

You could try asking krikzz for a further discount BTW. He did knock off $5 bucks when I pestered him for the SNES Group Buy that BlueBMW is heading up, and that was for an order of 10 but with the shell cartridges though.

Those shells are no longer listed for sale. I searched for them, can't find them on the site, either.

These aren't available? -

When I clicked the links again yesterday, they weren't available. Now, they're available again. Who knows...

Also, Joe, I sent payment.

Thanks for organizing this. This is something I had been thinking about for a while, even before the everdrive, I know there was a different flash cart. Now I'll be able to see what Toilet Kids is all about, and some of the other PC Engine games I've never picked up, but been somewhat interested in.

That's a good idea. I'll ask and see what they say. That would be pretty nice. Depending on how much of a discount, i could just refund everyone a couple of bucks if that's the case. BUt for now we will stick with what we have.

I'll update with who has paid and who hasn't right now. One payment isn't coming in until August 1st which is no big deal, so it'll be ordered then if the payment is on time.

Sorry to those who are eager like I am.

Title: Re: (CLOSED) Turbo Everdrive Group Buy UPDATE
Post by: Ninja16608 on July 28, 2014, 03:40:19 AM
Esteban spent all of his money on hookers and blow, so he's got to wait for his he-pimp to find more work for him.

Rosser is a mystery.
Nully I think you were talking about yourself in 3rd person.

I don't think you need to bust balls, but I do think a deadline would be a good idea. 8/3? That's a week from now.

A deadline is sometimes the only way to get certain things done.

I don't mind waiting a while for the ball to get rolling, however, I don't want to wait weeks for this process to begin.

Well, another 5 days for medic_wheat and anyone else... I can be patient enough for that, but at the same time they could've thrown $70 (+fees) bucks on a CC and gotten this moved forward already instead of waiting for a paycheck... We've got at least a month of shipping time from krik, so the sooner the better, and then jtucci has to do reshipping grunt work to the group, so add another 5-12 days there. /end grumpy

I'll be doing the same as I just ordered my Turbo Everdrive from Retrogate. Anybody know about how long it takes an order from there to get to the US? Said 15-20 days but hope that's the long side of the estimate.

I saw that as well and was hoping that was accurate. 15-20 days isn't too bad. Especially because then it'll get to me before I go off to school, but if not oh well.

I can't take all the credit.  :)  You helped me put together the bat files to help with the sorting.  I just had to edit them for each system, and decide how to categorize everything.  In the end, it turned out to be a pretty good idea.  Everyone seems happy with how they are sorted.  By the way, for anyone interested...I also have folders ready for most of the other everdrive family as well.

Also Rosser, i need your address. So please PM that to me when and if you see this. If not I'll just bug ya a little later, i just like having everything organized and ready for when the time comes to get these shipped off.

My super low profile shapeways Turbo Everdrive cover arrived on Saturday, I didn't bother opening it 'til a moment ago.

It arrives packed well, the box is something like 6 inches square, so no chance of the thing being damaged. I actually thought this would be shipped in a bubble envelope. The plastic is tough enough, so I think it would have survived a bubble envelope journey, then again, I don't mind the box, since this chunk of plastic cost close to $30 USD.

I ordered the white. I was thinking of Orange or Green, then I read it was vinyl dyed, though 50 cents extra, I had never dealt with Shapeways before, so I wanted to see how a non-dyed product turned out, and maybe next time I'll try something that they dye.

Anyway, the Shapeways item looks good, I'll post pics later. I didn't realize the underside had area's etched out for each chip and such, it's design is more complicated than I thought.

When the Turbo Everdrive gets here, I think I am supposed to cover the lower portion of the Turbo Everdrive with hot glue, and mash this Shapeways cover down on top of it.

Yeah this is strange. They said to use the Ukraine tracking and through Google chrome translation, which I'm sure isn't the best, it says almost nothing. USPS tracking has nothing on it yet. I'd be pretty happy with that shell. It's $16.50 + $5 shipped, so $21.50, then you have to ask the guy that made the label for one, so add more for that... A little too much in total for just plastic value wise... I dunno if I'll get it, I'll see. I doubt it though. I think $15 shipped is as far as I'm willing to go, my pricepoint range.

The package has made its way from New York to New Jersey. It is poking its way here. Soon enough!

What's the news concerning this? Is it estimated to arrive to you by the end of the week?

I thought it would but honestly were are looking at early next week. It may come today or tomorrow but i have since gone away to school. I was really hoping it would get to me before then, but it just adds on an extra day or two. I know that sucks, and I'm sorry. Bear with me, I'll move as fast as i can once they arrive.

If you are shipping mine to Canada, please wrap it up more.  That single piece of bubble wrap won't make it to Customs with a single bubble left unpopped.  I don't know if USPS uses them to cushion their asses on the drive up the Canada, but they're always flatter than a tire when the package arrives at my house.  No bubble wrap mailers please.  Use a box.

One everdrive was damaged. A reset button on one broke off during shipping. I contacted retrogate and I have to ship it back to get it repaired. Luckily for everyone here, they will all get theirs! A friend of mine bought one as well and he is fine with waiting. And don't worry, I checked every everdrive, no broken pieces :) (thank god)

But don't worry FiftyQuid, I'm shipping every one in a box. I managed to get my hands on a ton of leftover newspapers. And I've got some extra bubble wrap from various things. I'm trying to make sure it's packed tightly enough for it to make it to you safely.

Who cares about a reset switch? Isn't that what the power switch on the system is for? I'd just take it and leave it as is.

What is so hard about turning the power off on the actually system and turning it back on again. I mean, you have to hit the reset button which is right next to the power slider anyways right?

Micro-SD.

I did just test it today. It works fine, popped the sd card right in and played some games on it. It just obviously won't have a reset switch. If anyone wouldn't mind taking that one, or can easily repair it then that would be good. You could always send it back to me and we could send it back to retrogate to get it fixed in the event that something happens. They seemed willing to fix whatever was wrong with it, just at the expensive of making me ship it.

I wasn't too worried that it wouldn't work, i just didn't want anyone to think i was being careless with packaging and organizing and whatnot. I noticed right away that something wasn't right (all were covered in bubble wrap except 2, and one that wasn't had the reset switch broken off). So I'm almost positive it was just an issue with how it was packaged or the handling of the package.

...........

Cable channel. FXX. They are wrapping up on Monday. The channel even did it proper, and showed the Simpsons Movie, between the episodes, when it debuted in the theatre.

I actually have some photos of a 7-11 that got a Kwuik-E-Mart makeover in 2007 for the movie. I took some photos of it, years ago, since it was only in 10 or so locations across the USA.

*edited to add;

Some photos of a 7-11 convert, that I took photos of, in 2007. MILHOUSE is there! :)

It's OK, in Europe, you can still find bottles of, "Duff" beer. An empty bottle of Duff beer is better than stale Krusty O's or exploded bcan of BUZZ cola, any day.

Though, as I now read the sign on my photo, for the first time in a long time, with only about a dozen out there, who knows.

Probably still not enough to trade for a complete Magical Chase :).

Not Millhouse related, but I had not watched Simpsons much, over the past 10 years, just when I was around, usually near Halloween. I thought it was super cool I caught this, before sleeping. The, "Couch gag" actually made me hungry. I've not had good Pate in a while.

Just finished beating Street Fighter II CE with Ryu on my Turbo Express! ;) Sucked without six buttons, but it's playable.

It's a very impressive piece of hardware, I must say... I've not seen a PCB quite like it, the thickness to match that of a HuCard and what not.

Anyway, while waiting for Bernie to see my PM, I slapped together a quick ROM collection by alphabetized folders to get around the 256 file limit per folder. Look forward to loading up Megaman 1 and 2 on this some time as well! Definitely would love to get the 3.5" LCD mod done as the native LCD panel does show its 25 years of age unfortunately; it's ugly, too small, certain fonts upon various background choices are unreadable, etc. Exceptions are like white text over black background which reads well.

Well, once again, great looking out JT, danke my good man! A regular PCEFX hero and we don't get very many of those! :P

Mine arrived yesterday. packaged well, box survived just fine.

I only had time to quickly test it out.

I used a 4gb microSD I had laying around, from something I ordered 2-3 years ago. I think Newegg had some promo where I bought something, and fro whatever reason there was a freebie 4gb MicroSD + Adapter. It took a few years, but it finally got put to use.

I tested a US game, and a Japanese game. played each for about 5 minutes each. my roms are a mess though, may need to see what other people are using here, as I read someplace here someone put together a nice set.

The slim Everdrive cover I bought from Shapeways works great. it's very snug fitting, no need to glue it down. Also, I like being able to remove it as that way I can get to certain switches easier, it's also easier to insert the MicroSD that way.

So, I am happy with everything:

-  JTucci handled this very well, it was very conscientious of him to offer this, and for 20 people!
-  The Shapeways 3D printed slim cover fits fine, it's snug enough I don't need to actually dab glue at the edges.
-  The everdrive itself works fine, though I've only put about 10minutes on it.

Alright, guys, I need some technical help.

I'm using a Mac and formatted my 32GB MicroSD card as FAT (MS-DOS). Then, I put together some alphabetized folders and put all my ROMs in there. However, when I turn on my Everdrive, I get an "Error: 62" message. Any ideas?

EDIT: I used Bernie's setup and still get the "Error: 62". Doesn't work on TurboExpress or my US Duo.  Anything special I need to be doing?
Title: Re: (CLOSED) Turbo Everdrive Group Buy ORDERED!

From what I can tell  error 62 is a problem with the SD card.  Do you have another you can try?

Yep. That's what it was. For whatever reason, the Everdrive didn't like my PNY 32GB Micro SDHC. So I returned it to the store for a SanDisk 8GB Micro SDHC. Works great now.

Go with a small card. You don't want a huge SD card. My ED has no trouble with a 2 GD Micro SD card. I suspect the trouble you're running into may involve the side of the card. The ED may not support larger SD cards. This is speculation, however.

Title: Re: (CLOSED) Turbo Everdrive Group Buy ORDERED!
Post by: spenoza on September 07, 2014, 06:07:02 AM
I'm using mine without a cast for now... I should note, be careful when you insert and use this card. My Duo's card lock slider rubs right up against the SD card. If the ED isn't fully inserted and if you don't turn on your system carefully, there is a small risk you could damage the SD card.

ALSO: I am stoopid. Can folks share with me the cases they have been using for Turbo EverDrive? Our own jelloslug is designing one, correct?

And I thought I saved a link (Necro posted it, I think) to a storefront with a <$20 case...but I can't find it now.

Anyway, thank you TUCCI.  (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)

"Classic Style" http://shpws.me/q6MW
"Super Low Profile Style" http://shpws.me/q6MX

Still have to get a case myself. Not sure which one I'll get or what color. Null has the orange one which looks cool in the Duo, but I'm wondering what color of Blue they have, might look cool in the Duo R. Or maybe I'll just get Black or White. So much to think about with this little case.

Anyway, glad you got yours!

A 32 GB SD card should probably be formatted under FAT-32, not FAT... I also would consider finding a cheap 2 GB card for this rather than sacrificing an expensive 32 GB card. The ROM library is ~300 MB so that big of a card is way overkill.

EDIT: Oh OK, he fixed it with another card, size, etc.

Anyone seen Bernie of late?  Sent him a PM, but I haven't received a response.

I got the white, Super Slim. I haven't messed with the Everdrive anymore since it arrived, however I did recall thinking before the Everdrive got here, after I saw the pic of Nullity's Orange Everdrive cover, how nice that looked. I just went with white, but was tempted to get orange. Since I had not dealt with Shapeways before, and was unsure how their vinyl dying was, I figured a good first order would be the plain white.

Anyway, for those interested, the benefit I see of the white cover, was if you like glowing lights and stuff, the white allows you to see the power light of the Everdrive clearly. I didn't even know the thing had a power light on it prior to ordering.

I actually was interested in the white myself, if only to match the Duo-R it will be in.

Kindly post a pic or 2 when you receive yours I'd love to see what it looks like.

So, you want a pic of the everdrive + white shapeways cover inside a Duo-R with the power light on the everdrive active?

*Edited to add below;

Reson8er, I'm not sure if this is what you wanted, but just in case, below is a pic of the Everdrive plugged into a Duo-R, with a slim Shapeways cover on it, and the access light active.

The cover is nice, not only in that it protects the Everdrive, but it gives you someplace to grip when removing it from the system.

I was interested in this as well, so this is a good picture. I know this case won't protect it from any kind of damage, it looks more so to just cover the top from dust and whatnot. I like the light shining through.

Oh, this should protect it from damage. The plastic is tough. This Shapeways slim case is not just a dust cover! When I gripped it to remove from the system, my thumb pressed on the top of the Slim Shapeways cover.

The slim Everdrive cover from Shaepways is tough. There is no, "give" to it. I imagine the normal cover is even tougher.

Finally bought the microSD for this and loaded up the .rom files.  This thing is fricken awesome!  I don't know why I didn't buy this little piece of heaven before.  Loading up the .rom files is super easy and very fast.  Plays just like the real thing.

Now I have a problem… I have everything on the emulator so why keep the actual HU's?  I could see keeping some of them for nostalgia sake.  Splatterhouse, Bonk, Bonk II, R-Type, but the others I don't see a reason why I should keep them when there's some money to be had.  Soldier Blade is a perfect example.  This is a $100 game (give or take).  Why keep it?  I could use the money on something else, like another pinball machine.  :D

I had the same thought today, but I don't think I should ever sell off my collection. I just love the Turbo too much.

But I'll echo the sentiment: the Everdrive is fantastic. I've spent the last few weeks going through numerous PC Engine titles that I've missed over the years, using The Brothers Duomazov as a guide. As a result, I've discovered some great games. Even games that wouldn't be considered "classics", I've enjoyed the hell out of. (Coryoon, Aoi Blink, etc.). Looking forward to continuing the discovery.

I see it as a way to play the entire library. Cherry pick the games closest to my hear or liking.  Keep the junk titles down. Nothing but gems

Its mostly how I collect. I try and only get games I can pick up and play any day and enjoy.

No need to clutter up space on a game I never play.

So yeah.  Plus I can be patient and wait for the game to be in my price range and still enjoy the library of games on original hardware.
Title: Re: (CLOSED) Turbo Everdrive Group Buy ORDERED!
Post by: BlueBMW on October 06, 2014, 07:03:24 PM
It is very tempting to unload at least part of the collection.  Certainly I plan to keep at least a handful of games that have nostalgic value etc but yeah the everdrive certainly makes a good case for letting a lot of stuff go.  My US system is still at my parents house 1300 miles away but I can play all the US games I want on my DuoR using the everdrive... its just so darn convenient.

Yeah, especially if you've got a TurboExpress/PCE GT.  Carrying around all your Hueys would suck.
Same thing with the DS... I don't have any ROMs that I don't own the cards for on it, but I've got enough DS games that carrying them around every time I go somewhere is a pain!

I'd honestly be willing to do it again. Gives me something to do and it's really not bad.

Not sure how many people would be interested in another one though. We knocked out so many people with the last one.

Aehile ago I had bought two pc engine cores (use to be white now sorta not white)  they were region modes.

So I gave him one of those with a 3rd party controler everdrive and sd cars full.

He enjoys it more then the nes he bought at a local flea market.

They're fairly easy. Bernie on here has the roms set up in a nice folder ready to go. You just load those on a mini sd card and pop that in the everdrive and you're good to go. An entire PCE and Turbob library at your disposal.

Once you find roms for the real games you own you copy them to a single SD card.  You can mix US and Japanese games on the same card.  If I remember right, 1gb should be more than enough space.

You just put the .pce's on a MicroSD card, then put the card in the Everdrive. Don't put uncompressed .zip's.
do i need 2 sd cards for the us and jap games?
You can mix JP and US games on the same SD card.
how big should the sd cards be?
1GB should be more than enough. It's ok to use bigger cards though.

I've sent you a PM.

To the few people who contacted me about another group buy, I'm sorry it didn't happen. I got busy with life stuff and it's getting towards a time where I wouldn't be too sure where I could ship them to with confidence that they wouldn't sit around and get banged up (last thing anyone wants is a broken Everdrive). So it would just be a bit of a hassle.

I hope everyone who wanted one was able to snag this deal that's been going on though!
