When I was doing a cap replacement the front little leg of the transistor where this guy soldered his missing trace to broke off could some tell me the value all I can make out is the code BA

thanks

The D502 is most likely a BCW61A
it could be a BAS40PT as it's also a SOT-23 with the marking BA....
could even be MMBZ5241B as it's also a SOT-23 with the marking BA...........
but by the picture it seems that the front leg of the SOT is still intact.

The picture is not of my system its from someone on the forum. Is there a non-smd transistor that is equivalent that I could try?
thanks for the assistance

Does "D" not mark a Diode and "Q" is for Transistors ? "T" - Transformator... ?
-
Yes but a diode can be in a SOT-23 package.

Yes, you are right - I thought about Rosser:
