I'm pretty sure there's not too much interest here for atari stuff but in the off chance i did post some stuff over on nintendoage.

LOL... Nintendo age.
LOL... $100 should include the games.
All kidding aside, I'd be interested in seeing a pic of the output with those mods.

Lol you dick, it does have a really nice pic though! i dialed in the shit outta that thing. I first went with the generic composite mod awhile back and it was ok, but the svideo board is super sharp. Colors are defined with no pixel bleeding which makes for a pretty damn good experience. I tried to get pics but my iphone taking pics of a crt just blows unfortunately.

Back on topic: I love paddle games, especially KABOOM! on 2600.
Lots of good games on there.

I've wanted an Atari for awhile, but I keep hoping for one to show up at the thrift. That's how I got my Odyssey2.

Well that was fast got a bit low offer but it was for everything so i took it.

2600 was the shit for collectors and genesis/snes were largely ignored in the 90's even in the prototype trading scene. Makes you think.

Even now Atari collectors have the bank and passion when it comes to high ticket items. When I say that a copy of Air Raid went for over $30,000 I was kind of in disbelief, the only thing that has come close to that was the sealed Stadium Events. Hell, byuu sold his entire SNES collection for less than than.

And unlike Aero Fighters 3, Air Raid was actually real.

I bought an Atari 2600. Worst damned purchase I ever made. That is the shittiest pile I've ever had the displeasure to share my TV with. Worse than when I watched Alexander. Worse than when I used to watch scrambled porn and have to hold the button on the remote down so it stayed distorted instead of completely white static. Worse than when my tv actually broke completely and became a giant box paper weight.

BARNSTORMING = fun

I actually have HERO. It sucks.

Beamrider, laser gates, spider fighter, phoenix, solaris, dragon fire, planet patrol, moon patrol, pitfall 1 & 2, frogger, stargate...shit there's alot of good games that are fun and actually look good. Just gotta hunt through alot of crap to find them. I never owned hero but seen it played on youtube, so can't comment if its good or bad.

You really want a kick in the balls don't you :roll:

Nothing I've said wasn't the truth at least from my point of view. I still have all my Atari garbage and that's what I was thinking about doing with it, trashing it. Suppose anyone wants to buy my garbage?

Make a sales thread. There are still a couple of holes in my 2600 collection.

If not being able to appreciate old Atari stuff means a kick in the balls, then I need one please.
